Project task timelines relative to previous task status

Currently in project templates you can add tasks and set when you want the task to be due, relative to the project start date but lots of us have timelines that aren't necessarily fixed (like when we're waiting on client content or feedback) so it would be great to have the ability to set the due date relative to a previous task's status (ie: task B is due 2 days after task A is complete). Currently, I have somewhat reasonable due dates for my projects but when I have a project and I'm waiting on client info, for example, I have to change the due date for every task due after I receive the information from my client... and there are a lot so it can be quite time-consuming and really defeating the purpose of having project templates.

This would be a huge help. My project deadlines are dependent on when a client schedules check-in meetings, so I'd really like to be able set a task as "due X days after meeting date/meeting scheduled."

This would be amazing!

This is huge!!! As a designer with a extensive background in project management this is just standard for project management and its so frustrating not having predecessors and the ability to tie tasks together based on previous tasks. Also the ability to have a start day and flow from there or an end date and flow back depending on the project.

This is critical for me. I really, really need dependencies from task to task so that I don't have to manually change all the due dates constantly. "Task B due X days after Task A COMPLETED (not original due date)."

Yes please! Our timelines are shifting all the time and task dependencies are critical.
