More Flexibility in Invoice Details

I'm moving over from another time tracking and invoicing app and struggling a little to find a good setup to get invoices looking the way I'd prefer.
I have two choices for details on entries. Either just the title or a complete break down of every single time entry on a task in chronological order.
A middle ground would be awesome that provides the task names and the total time accrued without an individual list of entries that a client would have to manually add up by task to gain value from.
Is there any way to simple get a list of the tasks in a project underneath the title, or even better yet, total time per task instead of individual chronological entries?
Perhaps projects could be a heading with a full total, then tasks as line items/sub heads with their individual hours listed as well.
This would allow me to avoid creating projects that are really just tasks but that the client requires to be broken out on their invoices.

Hey Geoff Mina, I’m wondering if there’s any chance this feature might still be considered for future development? 🙏 I’ve been using the workaround you shared in the Loom, but to be totally honest, I’m really not happy with it.
Ideally, I’d love to see the project name as the main heading, followed by the individual tasks from that project listed underneath, each showing the total time worked per task.
Right now, it’s flipped — the task is shown as the main item, and the project name appears below. Plus, when multiple tasks belong to the same project, they show up as totally separate line items instead of being grouped, which feels confusing and disorganized from a client perspective.
This kind of structure is such a core part of clear, professional invoicing — I’d really love to see it implemented properly at some point. 🙌

We just closed this feature out yesterday. This was a duplicate feature request, so it didn't get updated.

This!! I need to be able to show the project AND the tasks on the invoice without the detailed time entries.
