Users currently require the ability to send emails from different addresses based on the type of communication. Specifically, users want to send general communications from one email address (e.g., hello@site.com) while allowing all accounting-related emails, such as invoices and payment notifications, to be sent from a different email address (e.g., billing@site.com). Additionally, given the user base's needs, it would be beneficial to have the option to configure and select custom email addresses based on the specific domain (.com or .au) for client communications, for us we have both .com and .au sites targeting different locations.
Our uses and proposed solutions:
Multiple Sender Email Configuration:
Implement functionality that allows users to specify a primary email address for general communications and a separate email address specifically for accounting-related emails (invoices, payments, etc.).
Domain-Specific Email Customization:
Provide users the ability to configure custom email addresses for both .com and .au domains, ensuring that communication can be tailored to client preferences. This would allow them to choose the appropriate email address on a client-by-client basis.
User-Friendly Interface:
Create an intuitive user interface within the settings section that enables easy configuration of multiple email addresses and the selection process for different types of emails.
How this would benefits our business:
Improves clarity in communication by clearly designating which email address is used for accounting versus general inquiries.
Enhances the professionalism of email communications, providing clients with consistent contact points.
Allows for better brand alignment by enabling users to choose email addresses that fit their specific domain needs.
Streamlines communication preferences on a client-specific basis, thereby increasing overall client satisfaction.
