I am sending a list of problems I find with projects in Client portal.
  1. When Project in Client portal with setting:
Full collaboration + Show only assigned tasks
In such project when Client creates a New task, then clicking on it doesn't open the Edit task popup window.
  1. On the other hand when Project in Client portal with setting:
Read only collaboration + Show only assigned tasks
Read only collaboration + Show all tasks
Client can still click the + sign and create a task via a popup window. It will not show for him on the dashboard, after he hits Save though. He is not supposed to be able to use this functionality at all. No error message or anything shows for him.
