Country code not saving in clients or contacts

When I add contacts to a client, I can't get Moxie to save the right country code for their phone number. I can enter it fine, but when I save the contact, go out, and then come back in later, the country code has reset back to the US (+1).
The country code does seem to save just fine at the client level, though.

We switched the component we are using for phone entry. This one should not have this issue.

Geoff, yes, it does seem to be mostly fixed. Thanks!
I do have one case, though, where a contact's phone field isn't able to recognize the country to display the right flag, so it just shows a gray square. The number is right, though.
I'm guessing because the person's phone number is unusually long? It's a UK number, and it has 11 digits in the number after the +44 country code. š¤·āāļø
