Categories for Income

It would be nice to have categories for the income received. When doing taxes so that income is broken down by category on the report.

I agree here. I need to set products to "income categories".

For Example:

Product/Service:

Web Design
Website redesign
Landing page

All three of these would be set to income category "Web Design".

Additional Product/Service:

Website Hosting
Website Support

These two would be set to income category "Website Support"

On the P&L, we would have the option to view by client as it is currently, or switch to income category where we see income by Web Design and Website Support depending on the service provided.

This would be majorly beneficial in my world.

Are there examples which might better frame the request? I'm trying to upvote this but I'm not sure I understand the need.
